This is fun and easy way to ‘wrap up’ a vase!
A fun project for Spring and easy to coordinate with any colour of flower…

You don’t need much for this DIY project, and if, like me, you ‘love yarn, this project is even more fun.
Save some old bottles or jars, grab some woolly leftover and get to work.

Materials
– Bottle
– Glue gun
– Yarn
(byClaire No 2 yarn: Fuchsia 237, Ochre 2181, Salmon 212, Powder Pink 210)

Description
Start at the bottom of the bottle.
Apply a small amount of glue to the bottle and attach the beginning of the yarn. Wrap it around the bottle tightly, working your way up.
Continue wrapping until you feel you should change colour.
Cut the yarn, apply a small amount of glue to the bottle and stick the end down.
Repeat this with the new colour and keep wrapping around the bottle until you reach the top.

*NOTE: you only glue down the beginning and the end of the yarn.*

I made this vase as a gift for Jeannette of De Winkel van Jeannette.
I was there last Saturday to give the colour workshop, and it was a lovely pleasant day because De Winkel van Jeanette celebrated it’s Fifth Anniversary!
