The second week of our Christmas holidays was great.
I had a fun date with my sister (who does not have blog, but is on Instagram here) at Villa Augustus in Dordrecht. It really is an amazing place! Beautiful gardens, great shop, fine entourage and delicious food. I would definitely recommend going there if you can.
New Year’s Eve was also great fun!
We stayed at home and ushered in the new year with our neighbours from a few doors down. (Instagram neighbour – click here)
The children lit sparklers and enjoyed themselves with toy fireworks, while we stood outside, around a fire box, with the rest of the neighbours, chatting the time away.
On New Year’s Day, we went on a wonderful walk across the heath with the dog. We were lucky with the weather, because a few hours later, a thick fog bank came rolling in…
This weekend, we put the Christmas stuff back up in the attic and added a touch of spring to the house.
It’s great to have the house all clean and fresh again!
