LACY GARTER STITCH BABY BLANKET

byclaire-haakgeluk-2-garenspatronenworkshops-5

Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, I made a beautiful blanket in a lacy garter stitch.

I blogged about it on my old blog, Haken & Meer, drew a simple chart and it became it real hit!

It got over 94,200 views…

Does it look familiar to you?

We still use the blanket, it’s still a hit, and I still love the pattern; the wavy stripes, the lace…

The book Klein Haakgeluk definitely renewed my interest in crochet projects for small children.

For that reason, I slightly altered the pattern to make this sweet baby blanket, with fresh colours and in 100% cotton.
