I have wanted to make a bag to fit literally everything… and more.
I am pretty hopeless when it comes to bags. I have a real bag fetish!
I also always take everything with me, ‘just in case’, so one bag is never enough. That is why all my bags have one thing in common: they are HUGE! I sometimes call them ‘mega-bags’, because you can put everything in them (which then gets lost in that bag) and I am regularly standing at the till, rummaging through my bag for my wallet…
But I love that!
And so I can say that my new crocheted tote bag is a huge success!
It is big, spacious and fits everything. I feel that the colours make it even more amazing, and I secretly love the sparkly yarn.
The latest byClaire Sparkle yarn in combination with the byClaire no. 2 was the perfect combination of yarn for this tote.
The bag has bold stripes with the occasional glitter. And because of the bright colours, it fits really well with my many colourful outfits.
For the tote, I used bamboo handles which just scream Summer…
